Bride and groom exit the Asylum Chapel

Garden Museum Wedding Photographer

I’d been counting down the days to this wedding day ever since I first spoke with Annie and Ollie, and it didn’t disappoint! I loved every minute of being their Garden Museum wedding photographer.

The morning started off in great fashion in a private rented house in London that had all the space to accommodate Annie and her four stylish bridesmaids. Her very talented sister made not only the wedding cake but all of the bridesmaids dresses as well – there’s some serious skills right there, everyone looked incredible.

The ceremony was at the Asylum Chapel, a place I’ve been wanting to shoot at for ages. It’s such an incredible place and very unique, a perfect fit for the wedding. The light in there is to die for especially when they made their exit. An absolute photographers dream!

We then jumped on buses and headed to the reception at the beautiful Garden Museum. With stunning views across the Thames to the Houses of Parliament, you couldn’t not pick a more iconic London venue.

The whole day was cool, calm and super stylish, my perfect wedding.

Thanks so much for trusting me to capture your day!

Weddings at the Garden Museum, London

The Garden Museum is the only museum of art in the UK. The beautiful reconstructed Victorian building is of the Church of St Mary-at-Lambeth – it’s just incredible.

For weddings you can hire either the whole venue, which includes The Nave, Dan Pearson Garden, Orangery and Restaurant, or you can hire the spaces individually.

The Nave

In the Nave you can have 120 guests seated at tables (with a band and DJ) or 140 guests if you only have a DJ. You can also have additional evening guests up to a total number of 150 guests (including day guests).

Dan Pearson Garden

The Dan Pearson Garden can accommodate 100 guests standing or 30-40 seated, so perfect for either your drinks reception or a small intimate wedding. The array of plants help compliment the stunning church architecture.

If you’d like me to photograph your wedding there please get in touch.
