St Paul’s Cathedral wedding photographer
Lee is absolutely INCREDIBLE — the best possible choice we could have made for our wedding day!
Nina & Tom’s epic elegant wedding at St Paul’s Cathedral and Stationers Hall was planned to perfection by the incredible Rebecca and Ella from GetWed.
The day started with Nina getting ready at the Westin London Hotel. The penthouse room had the most incredible light and plenty of space for Nina and her besties. It really makes such a difference to the photos to have a light spacious room to get ready in.
Nina wore the most elegant and beautiful dress by Carolina Herrera accompanied with a stunning bespoke veil from unveiled by Sophie.
The theme of the day was ‘Midsummer Night’s dream’ which saw fresh blue table cloths mixed with pink and pistachio napkins. The tables were adorned with flowers, bought to life with a touch of yellow in the candles. They had a gorgeous 3-tier cake that was covered in Buttercream and decorated with editable flowers by the super talented Jen from Jen’s Cakery.
Nina is a writer so they had their table plan hanging from a tree with all of their favourite books which was a nice touch.
The 10 piece band kicked off the party in style and it was the perfect end to a epic day.
St Paul’s Cathedral wedding
It doesn’t bet much better than getting married at one of London’s iconic landmarks. The exterior of the Cathedral is so grand and the steps leading up to the cathedral provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography. They loved the architecture so much and wanted that conveyed in their photos.
Photography inside the Crypt
There are some restrictions to be aware of and no photography is allowed during the actual ceremony. I could get a few shots of Nina coming in and then some photos during the first hymn. I was then able to get them signing the register and exiting the crypt. After the ceremony you can get some photo’s inside of the Cathedral briefly and then as much as you like outside and on the steps. Nina had a dress change so we done two smaller sessions so we could get some shots of her in both of the dresses.
If you’d like me to photograph your St Paul’s wedding then please get in touch and I’d love too chat through what you have planned.
