Bride and groom walking at the Ibiza villa

Ibiza…WHAT. A. PLACE!

I’d love one day to call this home and become an Ibiza wedding photographer. It’s a place that holds a really special place in my heart, I just bloody love the White Isle! If you’ve never been its hard to explain, but it’s a totally magical place and ideal for a destination wedding. Only a 2 hour flight from the UK means its perfect to get all of your friends and family over to have the most epic celebration.

You can easily travel from one side of the island to the other in just over 30 minutes, which means your wedding party can experience every part of the beautiful isle. You have the option to stay over on the east coast which is more quiet, and then go over to the busy clubbing scene for a wild night before the wedding. Some of the top clubs are perfect for a hen and stag night. Pacha is a favourite of mine but they are all incredible. If its a popular night though I would definitely recommend pre booking.

If you love a sunset then you have the obvious places such as Cafe Del Mar and Cafe Mambo, but we found a hidden little gem call Sunset Ashram. A bit further around the coast and quieter than the busy tourist hotspots, but for me its the best place to watch the sunset.

Planning a Ibiza wedding

If you’re looking for wedding venues in Ibiza you’ll be spoilt for choice, but here’s a few of my favourites.

Atzaro
I attended a friends wedding here a few years back. Its located on the North of the Isle near San Llorenzo, but super secluded – the perfect venue for a chilled out wedding.

The Atzaro estate offers beautiful surroundings with extensive gardens, a 43 metre pool and all the social space you need for your wedding. Being surrounded by countryside gives it a real sense of calm and relaxed vibe.

There are 24 stunning bedrooms and suites, more than enough for your wedding party. All of the rooms have a luxury feel with lounge areas, terraces and some even have private gardens.

Did I mention the amazing Spa?! The dreamiest of places for you to relax before your wedding and a great addition for your guests. There’s a sauna, gym and also yoga and pilates for anyone looking for the whole Atzaro experience.

Elixir
Elixir is an awesome beach front wedding venue that offers the best views of the Med. Located on the west coast on the quiet beach of Cala Codolar, and exclusively available for weddings and parties – meaning you have the whole place to yourselves. The ceremony terrace is just incredible! Elixir offers the perfect sunsets, the light us photographers go crazy about!

Amante
Amante is over on the east coast of the isle and is set in a stunning cove perched on a cliff that overlooks Sol Den Serra bay. How incredible does that sound?! The views are to die for overlooking the bay and Formentera.

It’s available for exclusive hire which makes it ideal for a private wedding celebration. It host 60-120 guests for a civil partnership ceremony.

7Pines Kempinski
7Pines Kempinski Ibiza is surrounded by countryside and in-between the amazing Cala Conta and Cadolar beaches. You have a great backdrop of the Island of Isle Verdà amongst the clear blue waters of the  Mediterranean Sea.

With an idyllic location the 7Pines Kempinski Ibiza is perfect for any wedding. The ceremony terrace offers insane views over the Mediterranean and there are plenty of options for your wedding breakfast from the Cone Club to the Pershing Yacht Terrace.

Hacienda Na Xamena
Well maybe I’ve saved the best until last, only you can decide, but the views here are just breathtaking. The word luxury springs to mind when talking about Hacienda Na Xamena. It has 77 stunning rooms and suites and was the first five-star hotel in Ibiza.

There are plenty of other facilities such as three pools, a tennis court, football court, spa and a cinema and games room. More than enough to occupy all of your wedding guest!

Getting married in Ibiza?

If you are looking for an Ibiza wedding photographer then I’d love to hear from you. It really is the most magical place and I’d love to be a part of your Ibiza wedding plans.

    Hi Lee,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I’m trying to organise a shoot in Ibiza in the upcoming months and I’m location scouting via the internet at the moment, and one of your images is the exact kind of location I’m looking for.

Would you be able to let me know whereabouts the first image on your page (https://www.leeallison.co/ibiza-wedding-photographer/) was shot?

It’s the shot of the couple in tan attire, on a white ground with trees in the background.

I would massively appreciate your response!

    Many thanks,
    Aodhan

    1. Hi Aodhan,

I’m good thanks and hope you are too. The Villa is called Villa Sa Claro. Hope that helps.
