Barn Wedding | Louise & Steve

My last wedding of 2019 was a trip back to one of my favourite wedding venue, South Farm.

I caught up with Louise and Steve a few weeks before to chat through their wedding day, and I was totally buzzing for what they had planned! 

The ceremony was in the large Tudor Barn, which was a first for me. Incredible doesn’t even come close to describing how it looked after being styled by Cissy from Wild Stems with her beautiful flowers. It was totally out of this world, so unique!

Louise’s dress was off the chart too! An elegant, long sleeved, ornate gown from Morgan Davies Bridal in Hitchin, which was complimented perfectly by the unusual flower arrangements! We had a super chilled morning together with her bridesmaids and bridegroom.

Winter weddings are beautiful, but as it gets dark quickly, we got everyone out for a sparkler shot before the first dance. This was a great plan as it meant everyone could stay on the dance floor and party straight after the first dance, instead of being dragged back outside in the cold! And an epic party it was, with tunes from South Farm’s resident DJ Gary! 

Big thank you to Michelle for being a total legend on the day, wedding coordinator extraordinaire! 

Louise and Steve are the BEST couple, and really I felt like I was one of their squad. Thank you both, a bloody fantastic way to end 2019!
