Swynford Manor Wedding Photographer | Amy & Mubine

Swynford Manor weddings are always fantastic occasions and Sarah and Stuart’s outdoor wedding was no exception! Swynford Manor, formerly Paddocks House) is located just outside Newmarket, Cambridgeshire. I was there last year for Gemma & John’s, and Amy had seen some of my shots which she’d fallen in love with. I met them both on a couple of occasions before the big day, the 2nd at the venue to discuss the plan for the day.

Amy was getting ready at the venue in one of their stunning rooms, the bridesmaids were there and the fizz was flowing! The room had beautiful light which allowed me to get some great shots of the girls. It really does make a difference getting ready at a venue, the rooms are always more spacious and normally there’s lots of natural light, which really helps in my job!

A short trip down the stairs and outside for the ceremony where Mubine was eagerly waiting. 

There is something really special about a ceremony in the conservatory, it’s so spacious and bright! 

The speeches are one of my favourite parts of the day – and these were really entertaining, especially the Father of the brides speech which was very funny! I just love capturing the reactions to these, it’s brilliant.
