Wilderness Reserve is a collection country houses and luxury cottages located in Suffolk in Saxmundham. The 8,000 acres in only 7 miles from Southwold and is a two hour drive from London. With all this beautiful landscape you have so much scope for photo’s.
For weddings the estate consists of a Chapel Barn which is a 15th century thatched long barn and Sibton Park Estate which is a Grade II Georgian mansion.
Chapel Barn Estate
This is a restored 15th century barn and sleeps up to 38 guests split over 18 bedrooms. There are also other houses on the estate such as Moat Cottage, The Cider Spa House, The Grange Spa House and two lost cottages – Tabernacle and Hovel. So with all of the accommodation they can sleep up to 80 with 39 bedrooms. They all have hot tubs and some have heated swimming pools.
Sibton Park Estate
This is a 1827 Grade II listed Georgian Mansion with 14 bedrooms. It’s set in it’s own parkland which comes with 10 other properties – the Suffolk Pink Farmhouse, Walled Garden, Cartshed, Clockhouse, Garden Cottage, Barn and four Lost cottages – Hex, Hayjack, Doxie and The Stump. It’s gorgeous picturesque landscape is home to the local sheep and cows!
Each estate is available either separately or together making it the perfect wedding venue regardless of your party size. They also only have 10 weddings there a year so you’ll have a very personal and dedicated service meaning your wedding with run effortlessly.
Another perk is that once you’ve booked your wedding they’ll give you a complimentary one night stay! This will allow you to meet all the team which is amazing customer service.
There is also so much for your guests to do so what not plan a few activities before or after the wedding. You could arrange a Spa the night before the wedding as a special surprise for your bridesmaids.
