Saturday saw me heading over to Norfolk for Erika and Kieron’s wedding at the stunning Stradsett Hall. The quintessential English country estate is set in two-thousand acres of beautiful countryside.

Saturday turned out to be the warmest day of the year so far hitting over 30 degrees!! It was definitely a warm one. I was joined by the awesome James Kilcoin who was capturing the video for the day.

It was an early start with the boys at 9.30am and normally not much goes on during groom prep but this was different. Erika had kindly left some lovely gifts for Kieron to open which provided some awesome emotional moments especially when he opened a TAG watch that he had wanted for ages! A truly great moment and a great way to start the day.

We then headed around the corner to see the girls who were very relaxed and chilled, the perfect way to start your wedding preparations. I think because Erika had planned everything perfectly there was no reason to stress, they could just enjoy the day knowing everything was sorted.

The ceremony was an early one at 12.30pm so we headed over to Stradsett Hall. There is a church next-door which is ideal if you want a church ceremony as you can just then walk over to the reception venue. Stradsett Hall can also caterer for civil ceremonies in their grounds and you have lots of different options.

We were lucky in that there were lots of shaded areas for the guests and us to get out of the sun! You couldn’t have picked a better day for it though.

During the wedding breakfast James and myself took a wander around to scout out possible locations for sunset. We found a beautiful lake and was told by the owner that the sun sets right on the lake. This was perfect! It was a bit of a walk but Erika and Kieron were up for it and trusted us and boy was it worth it, absolutely amazing!!!!! We even managed to dodge all the sheep poo in the field haha!

Thanks guys so much for having me along to capture your day. You are both awesome people and I wish you all the best for the future! Have an amazing time in Mexico xx

I am now taking bookings for 2020 and 2021. If you would like me to come and capture your day please get in touch!
